Prices

Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of our on-line catalog. Sometimes price, application and product availability changes occur that are beyond our control, therefore, prices, descriptions and availability of all items in the catalog are subject to change without notice. It is our policy to substitute an identical or comparable item from another of our vendors if we will not be able to fill your order within four shipping days (excluding Sat. & Sun). We will not ship an order that contains a price change or a substitution without contacting you first. All prices in our catalog are in US dollars.

International Buyers - Please Note: Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

PayPal
We accept PayPal. A PayPal account is NOT required to use this checkout option. For your protection, all initial orders made must be shipped to the billing address on the card. After your initial order, alternate shipping addresses may be used. KY residents will be charged 6% sales tax.

Shipping

We ship by UPS . All orders to the continental US (lower 48 states) are shipped by UPS ground service unless you request another UPS service level. UPS does not ship to Post Office boxes, so be sure that your order shows the complete street address with apartment or suite # etc. Additional charges for incorrect addresses are the responsibility of the customer. Shipping to locations other than the continental US and Canada will be shipped using USPS. We reserve the right to ship "oversize" shipments to Canada using USPS. Shipping charges are non refundable.

a.) When UPS delivers, ensure you receive all cartons for which the UPS driver is asking you to sign.
b.) Do not refuse any cartons due to damage; instead, ask the UPS driver to note carton damage on his delivery board.
c.) Keep the damaged packaging for possible later inspection by UPS. If any contents are damaged these should be kept along with the damaged packaging as UPS may send a representative out to your location and perform a packaging inspection.
d.) If nobody is available to sign the delivery receipt, the package will be left at the door.
e.) V1 Custom Cycles dba. Sportster Specialty IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGES LEFT AT THE DOOR. Packages left at the door are not covered for loss or damage.

Insurance

To ensure that your order is received complete and in good condition, all shipments are insured for the full retail value of the contents. If your package is damaged during shipping, have the delivery personnel note the damage in their log and sign for the package. Do not refuse delivery. Call or e-mail us and we will handle the claim for you and send replacements for the damaged items.

Warranties

Many items we sell carry a manufacturer's warranty and some do not. V1 Custom Cycles does not manufacture any of the items we sell, thus we do not warranty any of them ourselves. If you have any questions about whether or not a particular item has a manufacturer's warranty, please contact us prior to your purchase and we will find out for you. Die Cast parts are manufactured from a casting process. It is the nature of this process to have small random subsurface imperfections that can be uncovered during the polishing process. These may appear as very small cosmetic imperfections after chrome plating. Also they are not polished in areas that are not readily visible once assembled on the motorcycle. As these conditions are common in polished and chrome-plated castings, a reasonable standard of acceptability has been established to bring you the highest quality product at an affordable price. these parts meet PermaChrome™ cosmetic standard. The aforementioned cosmetic conditions are considered reasonable and are not considered warrantable. There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to discoloration. Blueing or discoloration is caused by tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor jetting, and/or overheating, and is NOT a manufacturer defect. No refunds or returns on electrical items. LIABILITY: V1 Custom Cycles shall not be held liable for any labor, paint, or any other damage(s) resulting from any part(s) sold by V1 Custom Cycles. V1 Custom Cycles shall not be held liable for any damages of any kind for any of the products that are sold by V1 Custom Cycles. The manufacturers of any product sold by V1 Custom Cycles shall be the sole party responsible for their product(s). Any purchased item(s) from V1 Custom Cycles should be installed by a " Certified Mechanic " and inspected for safety after installation by a " Certified Mechanic ". Any person(s) that install any part(s) purchased from V1 Custom Cycles shall be solely responsible for ensuring the proper and safe installation of those parts. BE ADVISED THAT IT IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT ALL PARTS PURCHASED FROM V1 Custom Cycles ARE INSTALLED IN A SAFE MANNER INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, CLEARANCES, LEAKAGE, AND ANY OTHER SAFETY MATTERS. NOTE: Failure to install purchased parts properly may result in " SEVERE " damage, including but not limited to , death, personal injury and ( or ) property damage.

Returns

All returns are charged a 20% restocking fee and must be postmarked within 20 days of your original receipt of the item. After that, no returns are allowed. Email us for an RMA number, no returns will be accepted without an RMA. All returns must include all parts in new, uninstalled condition and the original packaging. No refunds or exchanges will be made without them. Shipping costs are not refundable. Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs and fees. Returns by shipping company due to "non-deliverable", "return to sender", etc.. will be considered a customer return and subject to same costs and fees. No refunds or returns on any electrical items and big bore kits.

Open Box

All open box sales are final. No refunds, returns or exchanges on open box items. Be sure you want the item before buying it! All photos of open box items are of the actual item.
